About Us

Here's all the dirt on the stars of the show.

Mark

Mark is a first year Radio Student at Warrington.

He is seen as a all round good guy and will whip you up into a state of fits in seconds with his lethal comedy. People talk about him becoming the new Mother Theresa/Bob Monkhouse. If you are a early riser on Friday mornings, you can often see Mark wandering aimlessly around in his penthouse suite at Padgate Campus, naked, scoffing Bran Flakes in preparation for the show.

Out of University, his powers are restored and can be seen living a double life as an excecutive for a corporation in London. He is a ardent capitalist and sees profit in everything. One of his aims in life is to float himself on the Stock Exchange.

Mark's hobbies are football, comedy, farting, fire eating and helping old ladies crossing roads. His favorite food is fairy cakes.

There are many people to have influenced Mark, who include Dave Lee Travis (pictured), Mother Theresa, Simon Bates, Jimmy Saville, Martin Day, Bruno Brookes, Steve Scruton, Dame Edna Everage, Chris Evans, Noel Edmonds, Christian O'Connell, and Eddie Templer Morris.

Chris

Chris is another first year radio student here at Warrington.

A sex symbol known throughout the campus, Chris is often to be found fending off swooning girls with a large stick. In the show itself, he is best known for showing off his Big One at about 9.40 every Friday morning. He is the proud creator of Girls on Wheels.

Outside University life, Chris does a lot of charity work, raising over £2 million for various charities every weekend. He enjoys white-water rafting and snorkelling in the Manchester Ship Canal, and when at home in Leeds, goes mountaineering in the treacherous uplands near York.

He claims his single main influence was watching Timmy Mallett on TV when he was little.

Trusty Sidekick Hazel

Hazel is a performing arts student in her first year at Warrington.

On campus, Hazel is a real busy bee involved in many activities and societies including "Cross Stitch for Beginners", "Frying Eggs and Other Cooking Extravaganzas" and "Water: Is It All It Says It Is?". Her other hobbies include sleeping and trying to read as much as possible in the endless search for worthy news to be read every Friday on the Mark and Chris show. She is also the Executive producer of the show and makes all the important decisions; however she is a silent partner, and doesnıt feel at all demoted in her job as news reader.

Off campus she has the strenuous task of walking around the Birchwood area, and counselling all those who are lost and needy. Her endless devotion for tea making and drinking has earned recognition in the National Tea Making Society (NTMS). At home in Burton she drinks beer and eats marmite constantly because there is nothing else to do. Other hobbies include sleeping and making up new words, her latest being "churchicular".

Hazel's heroes include Moira Stewart - "she's so serious" - and Sir Trevor Macdonald (pictured) - "clearly the sex God of the ITV news team". Hazel dreams of one day working with such big players in the world of news reading.
