JamCam is the original Al and Chris Production, thrown together over a couple of days when we had the idea of making a bottle rocket and decided to film it. The rest came later.

The show was filmed in September 2001, about eight months before its successor AlCam on Holiday. In that time, two failed attempts at producing a sequel were made; JamCam 2 was filmed entirely in Al's bedroom and filming was never completed, and Walk to AlCam was finished but then discarded because it was... well, rubbish. The Walk to AlCam is now included on the DVD for your viewing pleasure.

The DVD

JamCam was originally filmed direct to VHS tape from Al's old camcorder, and until recently one near-worn out casette was all we had with JamCam on it. Using state of the art wires and just a bit of magic, we've transferred the movie from tape to DVD, and now the entire show is available complete with whizzy menus, chapter markers and extras. Hooray!
