For three years, "Mark and Chris" were bywords for radio genius among the students of Warrington. For the first two years it was the Mark and Chris Breakfast show, but in the third year it moved to a late afternoon slot and became Tea with Mark and Chris. It had always been feature-heavy, but in the third year became almost certainly the most heavily produced show on the station, with pre-recorded and scripted features throughout.
It was a winning partnership of skill, creative genius and sheer unadulterated talent. Mark was also on the show.
This is a three-minute showreel from the show I co-presented for three years on Warrington's student radio station, The Cat 1251. It uses material broadcast in the first half of our third year and gives an overview of features like Listeners' Letters, Celebrity in the Cupboard, Around the House and Walk in the Woods.
Unfortunately, you can't download full programmes here. Yet. But you can get hold of lots of our old audio material - pure radio genius, guaranteed. (If you steal any of it, we'll send the boys round.)

Are you one of the (many) disillusioned listeners who won a prize in one of our competitions? Perhaps you were a lucky participant in Girls on Wheels. If we never got round to giving you your prize, then you can now download the prize photograph in PDF format here. Congratulations!
The website that accompanied our show in the first year (which includes some audio clips) is available in the Web section of this site.
