I am Chris. Welcome to chris5156.com, a personal website with a twist of lime.
Here's some of my stuff - have a look around.
Radio is mystery and magic and the power of speech. It is meaning made through sound and silence. It is entertainment, companion and lifeline. It is my job to push the buttons in the studio.
I was born an anorak for tarmac and road signs, and now I run the UK's largest website on that very subject. I am not without redemption, though - the Daily Telegraph describes me as "not at all geeky". So, er, that's OK then.
I have a digital video camera, editing software and like-minded friends. We make stupid videos together. Here you can find out more and watch some of my stuff.
It makes me very happy to amateurishly point my camera at things. Big, static, colourful, exciting things, and not usually people. You can view some of my pictures here.
The internet is full of exciting things and I made some of them. Bits and pieces of my web work, old and new, are in here.
